OVERVIEW
The Landsail LS588 UHP is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Landsail offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The model guarantees excellent all weather traction. The silica-based tire compound and the computer optimized tread pattern increase the road gripping ability in dry, wet and winter weather. The silica in the compound maintains its flexibility in all weather road conditions, while the asymmetric tread design’s elements ensure road grip all year round. The special circumferential and lateral grooves, along with the extra siping detail, boost the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The increased road contact and tread design promote a safer year round performance.
The tire’s silica-enhanced tire compound also manages to decrease the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The silica in the compound manages to decrease the rolling resistance by decreasing the weight of the rubber materials. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the tire during the drive that determines the energy needed for the vehicle to maintain the tire’s motion. This takes the driving pressure off the tire and offers a fuel efficient drive in all weather.
The computer optimized tread pattern maintains constant road contact. This increases the model’s controllability in all conditions as the tire keeps its constant road contact. The steering responsiveness and driving stability are improved in this manner. The steering becomes quick and precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the tire’s structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The tire’s internal structure and the reinforced sidewall maintain the optimal tire shape even under the high speed driving pressure. The model does not deform under the pressure affecting it, which guarantees a safer high speed driving experience.
The Landsail UHP promotes a quiet drive. The optimized pitch distribution manages to decrease the road noise generated while the tires are in motion. The pitch negates the road noise created during the drive with a sound frequency that cancels out all road and tread pattern noise made by the tire. The road noise does not reach the tire’s cabin in this manner, which promotes a comfortable and enjoyable drive.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
