OVERVIEW

The TBC Wild Trail CTX is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks, which can be used in commercial van applications as well.

The tire promotes great all season traction. The silica-based tire compound and the aggressive symmetric tread design work together to boost the tire’s dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The silica-infused tire compound maintains the tire’s rubber flexibility throughout the year and it ensures the tire’s grip on the road surface at all times. The tread design upgrades the number of biting edges for the model to firmly grip the road all year. For extra winter weather traction studs can be added to the tire as it is pinned for them. The open shoulder pattern and circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint, enabling the tire to upgrade its wet and winter weather traction.

The model is easily controlled thanks to its tread pattern. The flat footprint of the aggressive tread design enhances the road contact. In this manner, it improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The optimized shoulder tread blocks upgrade the cornering ability. They increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during cornering and maneuvering to guarantee a safer performing capability.

The tire promotes exceptional on- and off-road traction. The aggressive tread design and the durable rubber compound ensure great on-road and soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. The optimized tread design ensures additional sideway biting edges, increasing its deep mud and loose dirt performance. Additionally, the tread design features mud and stone ejectors that keep the footprint clean. Mud and snow do not block surface contact, while stone retention is effectively prevented.

The Wild Trail CTX offers great durability. The tire’s internal structure features a full width nylon overlap which strengthens the tire’s construction. This prevents the tire’s shape from deforming under the driving and load pressure affecting the model. As the shape does not deform under the pressure, it enables the tire to carry and withstand heavier loads with ease. The strengthened structure and the durable cut and chip resistant tire compound avoid road damage from harming the casing. The sturdy construction provides a secure driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
