OVERVIEW
The Starmaxx ProVan ST850 Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vans.
The model offers great summer performance. The ribbed tread pattern and the summer compound improve dry and wet traction. The optimal tread design manages to keep close surface contact in summer conditions. At the same time, the heat-resistant compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area in warmer temperatures. Large circumferential grooves also resist hydroplaning in wet situations. These grooves eliminate water from the footprint and promote a safe driving experience.
The ribbed tread pattern and the close road contact enhance steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time becomes faster and more precise to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Enlarged shoulder blocks and their strong grip enable the tire to offer better cornering. This combination improves overall controllability and stability throughout the performance, which also ensures the driver’s full control over the vehicle.
The tire boosts load and driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and the strong rubber compound maintain the optimal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to carry and withstand heavy loads. This significantly improves the load-carrying capacity, making this model an excellent choice for heavy-duty applications.
The Starmaxx ProVan ST850 Plus also provides a quiet and comfortable driving experience. This tread design and the rubber compound reduce noise and vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin. In other words, the ribbed tread pattern is able to lower road and tread noise levels heard in the vehicle’s cabin, while the compound absorbs the shock of driving. This compound minimizes the vibrations felt by the passengers, guaranteeing an enjoyable performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
