The Americus Recon Tour is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Americus offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The symmetric footprint maintains surface contact throughout the drive, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. It offers faster and more precise steering responses, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering is enhanced with the biting edges generated by the shoulder blocks. Other tread elements help shorten its overall braking capability.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The optimized tread design keeps the surface contact in versatile weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. They increase dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. On the other hand, wide grooves prevent hydroplaning.
