The Farroad FRD16 is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model also comes in touring sizes.
The model offers great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and all season tire compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The model’s constant road gripping ability is further boosted with the tread’s optimal siping detail, while the special all season compound maintains the tire’s flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint, making the wet and winter weather performance safer.
The tread design and tire compound manage to lengthen the tread life and usability significantly. The tread closely follows the road surface and evenly spreads out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking. The equally circulated driving pressure prevents irregular wear formations across the tread area. The special compound slows the tread wear rate down with its wear-resistant capability. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
