The Nordman North 9 is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
Excellent winter-weather traction is promoted with this tire. The tread area is pinned for studs. When added, the extra studs significantly boost the winter weather, ice, and snow grip. The directional tread design and its special siping placement firmly grip the road surface in severe winter conditions, while the compound elements maintain the rubber flexible in freezing temperatures. The angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning to increase wet traction.
Great controllability is improved with this tread design. The directional tread design maintains road contact at all times. They boost the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the tire improves the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. This increases the cornering power as well. The shoulder block pattern enhances cornering and maneuvering capabilities.
